The theme for Beach Ball 2015 is 'That '70s Beach Ball', celebrating polyester, wide flared pants, and the cars of the 1970s. We are returning to a 3 day event format this year, but the Atlantic Sands Hotel will be extending the club room rate to Thursday night for those who like to make Beach Ball a mini-vacation. Early bird registration will be $140, after May 31st the rate will be $160, and our hotel rate will be increased by only $5 to $160 per night - the first increase in a number of years. Registration will be available on the club web site soon. Keep an eye out for more information.

BEACH BALL 2015 – THAT ‘70s BEACH BALL
SEPTEMBER 18-20, 2015

The theme for Beach Ball 2015 is "That '70s Beach Ball," celebrating polyester, wide flared pants, and the cars of the 1970s. We are returning to a three-day event format this year, but the Atlantic Sands Hotel will be extending the club room rate to Thursday night for those who like to make Beach Ball a mini-vacation. Registration is only $160, and our hotel rate is also $160 per night. Because more and more members have homes at the beach or stay with friends, the room block has been greatly reduced for this year. Please book early to get the club rate and be assured of getting a room. The entire “old” part of the hotel with the ocean front rooms is being renovated. The rooms won’t grow in size but should be outfitted with new furniture and carpeting to help you enjoy your stay.

Refer to the Straight Eights Region of the Lambda Car Club Intl. block #7520 when calling the hotel at 1-800-422-0600. It is best to call during daytime business hours. Registration is available now by clicking here.

If you elect to spend Thursday night at the beach, then Friday is yours to lie in the sun, shop, sleep or do whatever else you wish. Beach Ball planned activities officially kick off Friday evening and include:

The board could use your help in selecting a couple of our special ’70s themed awards. Look for an email soon containing a link to a survey monkey site where you can suggest an award category you would like us to consider. Perhaps “Most Hideous 5 mph Bumper”?
