ROCKVILLE ANTIQUE & CLASSIC CAR SHOW

As is our club tradition, on Saturday, Oct. 19 the Straight Eights will be joining the Annual Rockville Antique and Classic Car Show
Rockville Civic Center Park
603 Edmonston Drive, Rockville, MD 20851

This car show on the green presents a dazzling array of hundreds of cars from all eras through 1994, ranging from Pierce-Arrows to Ferraris, Model Ts to Fairmonts (ahem, Zephyrs!); this is one of the last major regional shows of the year and one of the largest in the country.

The annual Straight Eights Rockville Car Show lunch will be served on “Mopar Hill” around 12:30 pm, (Mopar Hill is located on the crest of the hill opposite Glenview Mansion, where Chrysler Corporation products, are grouped), and the cost of lunch is $10 per person. Please RSVP to StraightEightsPresident@gmail.com by Thursday, October 17, if you plan on attending and partake of the lunch.

NOTE: You must register separately with Rockville to display your car at the show. The fees vary - 1931 and older cars are FREE, other cars are $20, flea market spaces are $40. Spectators have free admission, with limited parking at Rockville Civic Center Park and at the nearby high school.
You can register in advance either online or by downloading a form and mailing it in with a check (registration must be received by Wed Oct 16.)

Go to https://www.rockvillemd.gov/667/Antique-Classic-Car-Show for all details andregistration forms.
Otherwise, you can register at the gate (at the drive-through registration station), which usually doesn’t take too long, but there can be bottlenecks.
