On Sunday, 05 April from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM, the Easton, MD Airport and the AACA Chesapeake Classic Car Club are hosting the second annual "Cruise In" for automobile enthusiasts and aviation lovers.

This is a great local car show put on by them for your enjoyment. It's not too big and not too small, about 75-100 cars if I recall. I attended last year on a whim as a spectator and thoroughly enjoyed the variety of quality vehicles that turned out. The airplanes that line the airfield strip behind the car show also provide a great backdrop for a good photo-op. It's a chance to get a favorite classic car of yours out of winter hibernation, or you can drive modern. There are no hard-and-fast rules for this event.

Lately, the Bay Bridge road work drama has subsided greatly, but allow yourself a little extra time just in case. It is truly a leisurely, enjoyable drive there.

We will also be joined by the Straight Eights DELMARVA group since it's about an equal distance drive for both east and west groups. Easton airport is VERY easy to locate, just off RT 50, follow the signs or your GPS.

There are no RSVPs required and there is no formality for this event. You just show up, look for friends, hang out, grab some lunch from one of the food trucks, (or bring your own) and enjoy the show and camaraderie. If any groups are planning a caravan, let me know and I can assist with publishing that info for others to also get connected. See ya there.

Admission for the general public is FREE! Public Parking is FREE!

Chesapeake Classic Car Club will collect a $5 donation (per car) for vehicles who wish to participate in the "Cruise In". This event is open to all makes, models and years. Trophies will be awarded at the end.
